Nokia Asha 501

Nokia Asha 501 was announced by Nokia company on 9th may 2013 in New Delhi, India. It is first Nokia Smartphone with New Nokia Asha platform(user interface) . It is specially designed with LCD Transmissive QVGA display of 3 inch in 320 x 240 pixels with pixels density 133 ppi. Display are high coloured (18-bit/262k). It is available in Six Different colour :-

1. Bright red.
2. Bright green.
3. Cyan yellow
4. White and black.

User can enjoy the facility of capacitive two point touch and high accelerometer and proximity sensor display. Macro Sim can be used in Nokia Asha 501. However it doesn't has dual Sim feature.  It has 99.2 mm height, 58 mm width, 12.1 mm thickness and 98 g weight.


Nokia Asha 501 is very very durable smartphone. It is designed of removable BL-4U Battery with 1200 mAh which can be used in 2G Standby time for 1152h and 2G talk time for 17h, music playback time for 56h. Micro -USB 2.0mm charging connector, 3.5mm audio connector, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0 with Object push profile 1.1, Handsfree profile 1.5, Headset profile 1.1, Phone book Access profile 1.0 has made it really unique & different.  Though it's advance version, wireless charging is not possible in it.

Talking about the camera, it has fixed focus camera with 3.2 Mega pixel. It is made up of 3x zooming facility.     It does not has flash feature. Strong IEEE 802.11 b/g wifi with security mode and cloud-compression technology, which means the internet data is reduced by 90- percent . It provide very fast and cheap internet facility to user. User data storage expandable micro-SD memory card of 32 Gb is available in Nokia Asha 501 and it has codecs Music feature. i.e MP3, AMR-WB, AMR-NR, MIDI, G.711, AAC, MP4, AVI and so-on.


Nokia Asha 501 price is 99$ and is available in 9 Countries now .
